If you're new here, this is an update about a baking product I designed that steams your bread in an oven to produce high quality baking results. In June I will be running a Kickstarter campaign to attempt to raise £15000 to get this product off the ground.

Last week I took a trip to my manufacturers to have a look at the first Spring Oven samples! The midlands based terracotta producers allowed me to film my visit to their factory and make a short clip for all of you. In the video below you can get a glimpse into the the initial production stages of a Spring Oven product an the high quality craftsmanship that is required to make each piece.

The team of potters producing the Spring Oven's have been working hard to design the process so that the Spring Oven's can easily be replicated. Most of the Spring Oven's produced in the next few months will provide for the rewards in my Kickstarter campaign which launches in just a few weeks time!

So without further ado, here are the images of the finished Spring Ovens, there are still a few slight changes to be made, but so far this whole journey has produced a great product.

Exhibiting this week in Jubilee Square, Brighton!

For the first time, the terracotta Spring Oven will be exhibited publicly. I will be exhibiting as an alumni student (2 years on) with  Brighton University's final year product design students. It's a great opportunity to show the finished product to everyday Brightonians and visitors too. So if you are available, the outdoor exhibition is running on these times this week in Jubilee Square, BN1 1GE.
